When I was four years old I had my first day of kindergarden. I had gone to preschool before although that was not really the same thing because all we did their was sleep and have the teacher read us stories. At first I was scared to go into kindergarden. However, on my first day of school I realized it wasn't going to be that bad.
On the first day my parents and I walked over to William Beye Elementry
School. My parents didn't really care that I was going to school. They
didn't show any real emotions because they knew it would be the same
for me as it has been for my two brothers. After that, I went into my
classroom and met my teacher, Mrs. Engstrom. She seemed mean at first
but then she got nicer.
After that first day of school things went smothly and I was happy to go back to school the next day. All of us in the class were really friends and there were no cliques like there are now. I had fun at school because it was only half a day and we didn't really have to do any work. By the time I got bored at school it was time to go home. At school we learned things like the letters of the alphabet. After a year I was done with kindergarden and it was time to move on to first grade.
