When I was a child, I went to the country every year. My grandparents lived there. It is a very beautiful place and in winter we skated with my friends on the lake and toboggan.

skating rinkOne day we went skating as usual but I did not skate and I walked on the lake shore. Suddenly, the ice broke and I got all wet. I did not dare to go home for a long time because I was afraid of scolding. But I froze a lot and finally decided to go home.

My grandmother helped me change clothes and gave me hot tea to drink. I drank tea with honey, went to bed and even did not fall ill.

My mother never knew about this.
