Six Flags Fright Fest
Russia |
One day when I was doing my homework, my mom told me that I was going to go to Six Flags Great America fright fest. I was really happy, I got up and yyyyeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss!!!!!!! (Not to mention, she said that we were going to stay in a hotel over there also.) I was really excited.
Packing 2 days of clothes I tell both of my cousins that I am going to get on the Raging Bull, De'javu, and the American Eagle. I wasn't bragging because I was going to Six Flags. They were going also. We ate before we went there; we ate sandwiches and a juice box. I used the bathroom so I would not have to go when I was in line for a ride. As we drove off in our silver Infinite truck we watched a show in the truck called Backyardigains it is a kid show that has talking penguins, mooses, hippos, and kanguroos. It was a boring show watching it so I fell asleep. We watched it because my little cousin and brother really wanted to watch it. 'WAKE UP, WAKE UP'', my mom excitedly said. As I was trying to stay up I saw that we were at Six Flags Fright Fest. I was really provoked. It was just that, a lot of the spaces in the parking lot were filled up. We were really upset because we haven't seen so many people here. I thought probably because the fright fest was also going here. Fortunately we found a spot but it was really far away from Six Flags. At least we found a parking place. When we get out the car the first thing I do is stretch. Then, I help my mom with the cart and put my little brother in it. He was excited also; I pick up my little cousin until we got into the amusement park. As soon as we got next to the gate we didn't have to wait in line for a ticket because we ordered tickets online. Lucky too, because I wasn't in the mood for being patient. Walking into Six Flags I tell my mom that my older cousins and I would go this way and you take the little guys to the baby rides that way. Call me if you need me. First, to warm up for the Raging Bull we got on the Giant Drop. (It took us 25 minutes to get on, but it was fun.) After we got off of that we went on the De'javu. It took us an hour and a half to get on but it was really fun, it was worth the wait. Feeling dizzy as soon as I got off the ride. All the rides I've gotten on, I was right on the make for how tall you have to be. I was only 9 years old, of course, I was short. We didn't know what ride we really wanted to get on except Raging Bull, I wasn't ready for it yet. (Because I was kind of terrified to get on it.) So instead of us getting on that next, we got on a ride that goes up and down called the Demon. The line was somewhat short. It was 2 hours until the fright fest started. The Demon was OK; I can see why the line was rather short. Now the moment has came, the time of the Raging Bull. As I walk anxiously to the Bull I look at the line. It was enormous. I knew I had to be patient for this ride. Everybody in the line had to. About 50 people away I see people leaving from the line probably because they were impatient. We finally got there 2 hours later. Now it's our turn as I got in and fastened my seat belt they start the ride. We move slowly out the starting place and all of a sudden a huge drop appears. It took us like 5 minutes to get at the top. Then, After the ride I was sick, real sick as soon as I got off I went straight to the bathroom. It was fun though. When I came out the bathroom, my mom said no more rides today; I agreed. 'We didn't go to the fright fest today but we will go tommorw,'' she said. We went to the hotel. It was amazing. We had a couch and 2 floors. I didn't get to see a lot because I fell asleep. To make a long story go quickly, my stomach felt better and I went to the fright fest; it was fun! People wore costumes. Going to Six Flags Great America, Fright Fest was really fun. I will never forget this childhood memory ever in my life. |
