Wonderful horse Far away in a big castle lived a beautiful princess. Her name was Lucy and she was very pretty. All men in the kingdom loved her. But the king, her father, was not very rich and he wanted her to marry Lord Harrison, who was very old, ugly but wealthy. Every day he used to come to the king’s castle to meet the girl. The princess had always dreamt of young and kind prince. She did not like Lord Harrison. Princess used to walk a lot in all places of kingdom. She liked horse riding and had favourite horse in the stable called Mouse.
She was so surprised that stopped crying and exclaimed: “Oh! You can speak! Am I sleeping?” Mouse said: “Yes, I can speak! I am really worried about your disaster and I will try to help you.” Princess was shocked but a bit encouraged. Next day she had to go to Lord Harrison’s castle. She came to say good bye to her horse in the morning but the horse was not in the stable. Lucy started to cry bitterly. Later she came to the castle with Lord Harrison. She was placed in the highest room. She had to spend 3 days there before her marriage.
And they flew away to the far kingdom where there lived a kind handsome prince. Prince and princess fell in love with each other from the first sight. They married and lived long time together in happiness and agreement. |
One day she came to the horse and started to
complain about marriage that she did not want. Suddenly the princess
heard that the horse started talking to her and encouraging her.
During
two days she was sitting at her room and crying. On the third day
she looked at the window and noticed her favourite horse running
fast to the castle. She opened the window to speak with horse. But
suddenly she saw that wings grew on horse’s back. Mouse flew to the
high window and took the princess with her.
