morozkoIn my childhood my favourite fairy tale was "Morozko". It is a story about orphan girl. Her mother died and she and her father became alone.

On day her father married ugly and angry woman who had a daughter too. And the life of orphan became difficult. She had to do all the housework for her stepmother and stepsister. One frosty day the stepmother told her husband to take his daughter to the forest and leave her there. He was very unhappy but there was nothing to do.

book coverBut the orphan survived. Morozko (Moroz means Frost in Russian) felt sorry for the girl and saved her life and gave her many gifts.

Her stepsister was very envious and went to the forest to demand gifts too but Morozko did not help her because she demanded and was angry.

So we can understand that if you are kind, others will help you but people don’t like angry ones.
