I interviewed my mother about some aspects of her childhood and here are her answers.

1. The brightest event of your childhood: One day when I was about 4 years old we played with my sister in the sand. I took the spoon and fed her with sand and she ate it, because she was younger. I remember this moment very well, although I was very young. My mother was very angry and shouted at me but I thought it was very funny.

2. Your professional dreams: I wanted to be a doctor and still sometimes I wish I was a doctor. But I couldn’t stand some awful things like much blood. In my childhood I used to play the hospital, I was a doctor and my sister was a patient. I used to make difficult operations on her, since I wanted to be a surgeon.

3. Your favourite fairy tale: At first I liked fairy tales called “Cake’s House” and then I liked “Bremen Musicians”. I had the tape recording of this tale and liked it because it was good – sounded, musical, there were beautiful funny songs.

4. Your favourite cartoon: I liked Japanese cartoon Jack in Wonderland, because it was interesting and seemed very long to me. During my childhood all other cartoons were not long. I still think it is one of the most interesting cartoons that I have ever watched. It is a story of the boy who came to wonderland using wonderful beans. The Wonderland was on the clouds.

5. Your favourite toy: My favourite toy was Cheburashka. (creature with big ears from famous Russian cartoon). It was made of fur and head from wood. It was the toy as they use in puppet theatre. You could put it on your hand and play.
